Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to registrations for events organized by Natcon IUDI, a part of the Institute of Urban Designers India (IUDI).

1. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds on event registration fees under the following conditions:

• Cancellations within 1 Week: If you cancel your registration for an event at least 7 calendar days before the scheduled start date of the event, you are eligible for a full refund of the registration fee.

2. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, you must notify us in writing via email. Please send your refund request to natcon@iudi.in. Your email must include the following information:

• Your full name
• The name of the event you registered for
• Your registration ID
• The email address used for registration
• A brief explanation for the cancellation.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will generally not be granted in the following circumstances:

• Cancellations within 7 Days of the Event: Refunds are not provided for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of theevent's scheduled start date. This is due to costs incurred in preparation for the event.
• No-Shows: If you do not attend the event and do not cancel your registration within the eligible timeframe, you will not be entitled to a refund.
• Partial Attendance: Refunds are not provided for partial attendance at an event.
• Transfer Requests: This policy covers refunds. Requests to transfer your registration to a different event will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to availability and any applicable price differences. Please contact us to discuss transfer options.

4. Processing Refunds

Once your refund request is received and approved, we will process the refund within 14 business days. Please note that it may take an additional 28 business days for the refunded amount to be credited to your account, depending on your bank or payment provider. The refund will be issued using the original method of payment, where possible. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or payment provider to credit the funds to your account.

5. Event Cancellation or Postponement by IUDI

In the unlikely event that Natcon IUDI cancels an event, registered participants will be offered the following options:

• Full Refund: A full refund of the registration fee.
• Transfer to Future Event: The option to transfer your registration to a future, comparable event organized by Natcon IUDI (subject to availability).

If an event is postponed, registered participants will be notified and given the option to retain their registration for the rescheduled date or request a full refund.
